What is Cyshorts?

Cyshorts is a free cybersecurity news app. It turns the latest security news into short stories with an AI headline and a summary of about 60 words, so you can stay informed in a few minutes a day.

Where does the news come from?

From the public news feeds of established security publishers such as BleepingComputer, The Hacker News, SecurityWeek, The Record and CISA advisories. Every story names its publisher and links to the original article.

How fresh is the news?

The feed shows stories from the last 24 hours (up to 72 hours on quiet days) and refreshes through the day. Search covers roughly the last 10 days.

Are the summaries written by AI?

Yes. Headlines and summaries are generated by AI and labelled as AI summaries. AI can make mistakes, so the original article is always one swipe away.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no ads and no tracking. Your saved stories and settings stay on your phone.

Is Cyshorts free?

Yes, Cyshorts is free on the App Store and Google Play.
